It offers great sun protection from neck to ankles. I only apply sunblock to the back of the hands and tops of the feet and finish off with a sunhat - good to go! The sleeves are long and cover all the way to her palms. I've saved so much on expensive, chemical-free sunscreens, that I don't feel guilty about the price for this item. Keep in mind, it runs large. My little one is 20 months. I ordered the 18-24 month size, and while it works now, it will definitely still fit next year (making me even HAPPIER about the prices). The snaps make diaper changes a breeze, although a bit of a pain to snap up while little one is squirming to make a dash for the pool. Oh, and added bonus...this swimsuit (in pink with the flower on the front) is actually cute! Why they can't make cuter full-coverage swimsuits is beyond me. This is the ONLY one I found that wasn't hideous. |
