As this was only my son's second swim lesson, I am not sure how this swim diaper compares to others on the market. What I do know is that I fastened it nice and tightly around him and about halfway through the swim lesson, I noticed his feces had escaped from the swim diaper into the pool! Yes, it was mortifying and now I am on the hunt for a swim diaper that others have found to better contain the mess, so THAT doesn't happen again!

This is a great swim nappy. I bought a Large sized one which has fit my daughter from 3 months old until now (2 years) -- she was average sized bub and petite 2 yo (10kg). Great fit and easy to wash.
The Aplix tabs are really grippy though - it can be hard to open the tabs when stuck down. And the version I bought two years ago had no laundry tabs (not sure if that has changed now).
But overall I am happy with them -- and plan to buy more now I have another child.
