It's just as cute as the picture shown however the material is a very thin cotton/polyester blend and is not typical swimsuit material that is meant to go in the water. This seems like it would be almost see thru if it became wet. I haven't tested it yet, but will update review later. It was perfect for frolicking in the sand and water at the beach but I wouldn't recommend it for swimming in a pool. It is 100% cotton. She did wear it in the pool one day and was shivering because of the material that it is made out of. The cotton, of course, absorbs more water unlike a regular swimsuit. I would definitely recommend it to my friends or family for beach outings. It is just too cute and was true to size. I ordered the size 12-18 months and my daughter is 15 months and weighs 22 lbs. It fit her perfect. |
